Action Worship Center moved to Laurel in August 2005 and is part of the Christian Action Faith Ministries International, a fellowship of over 200 churches worldwide.
The Head Bishop and Founder of CAFMI is Nicholas Duncan-Williams, best-selling author of many books and world-renowed teacher of the Word.
Action Worship Center has an emphasis on intercessory prayer and deliverance. The leadership is committed to "training spiritual champions for the end-time harvest through strategic prayer".
School of the Word is held on Sunday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Sunday morning worship service begins at 10:00 a.m. and ends at (around) 12:30 p.m.
Friday night deliverance services begin at 8:30 p.m. and include focused Bible-teaching.
Word Explosion is held on Wednesday nights.
Anointed vessels from all over the world are brought in to edify the flock on an ongoing basis.
