Worth the Wait Revolution 10 Year Reunion

Come out and celebrate the 10 Year Reunion of the Worth the Wait Revolution! In 2006, Dr. Warren founded the Worth The Wait Revolution (WTWR), an abstinence movement that is the counter-culture to the “sexploitation” of our day. WTWR has hosted Galas, Runway Events and more to promote the theme of ‘sexual purity with contemporary style and urban class’ over the years. Currently, WTWR has chapters that meet monthly in various cities throughout the U.S., promoting sexual purity, accountability, maturity and transparency. Her t-shirt lines, “I AM WORTH THE WAIT”, “HE WAS WORTH THE WAIT” and “SWAGGSTINENT”, are transforming the mindset of this generation.

In 2006, Dr. Warren also released her first book, The Best Sex of My Life: A Guide To Purity, where she shares the journey of maintaining her virginity until marriage. In her second book, The Best Sex of My Life: Confessions of A Sexual Purity Revolution, released in 2013, discusses healthy dating, courtship and engagement, while featuring the narratives of those who have been impacted by Worth The Wait Revolution. In 2014, Dr. Warren released her first children’s book, titled, I Am Worth The Wait. Her children’s book promotes self-esteem, self-worth, and self-confidence, while teaching the alphabet and new vocabulary words to young children. Her books have gained wide popularity and have impacted many.

Dr. Warren has been featured on CNN’s Young People Who Rock, BET’s Lift Every Voice, NPR’s Tell Me More with Michelle Martin and The Washington Post. Additionally, she has been a featured speaker/panelist at various conferences and events. Over the past 20 years, she has had the great privilege of mentoring countless high school and college students, and extending those mentoring relationships beyond Word Up and Worth The Wait Revolution.

On October 30, 2010, Dr. Warren married her husband, Gareth P. Warren. Gareth and Lindsay are the happy parents of their beautiful daughters, Grace and Charis.
